The story about “The rice jar of resistance” always remains in heart and mind of all Vietnamese people at home and abroad. At that time, “The rice jar of resistance” and saving spirit of army and people were enhanced, which was a significant factor helping Vietnam to overcome all difficulties. Nowadays, economy is extremely stagnant; therefore, every enterprise must put the spirit of saving on the top. A&P Group is also not an exception.

From 1951 to 1952, Vietnamese army and people carried out the war of resistance against the French colonialist in the most arduous and thorny period. French invader had advantage in all aspects (material, military equipment, military goods, food …); on the contrary, many areas in Vietnam had barely recovered from hunger, agricultural production was utmostly backward, food scarcity and deprivation in all aspects. In this daydoom situation, Uncle Ho launched a movement "Rice Jar resistance" and entire Vietnamese people responded enthusiastically.

For the spirit of this movement, he said: “we had to save from the small to the large, non-luxurious, wasteful, indiscriminate and unobtrusive form. Saving from the smallest was the effective way to help us overcome the most difficult period. He saved even the sundry as diminutive as paper: ”Paper and pen, material – they all make costly to the Government, that also means costly to population; therefore, we need to save. If a small piece of paper is enough to write, do not use a big one. An envelope even can be used two or three times.
Not only did Uncle Ho emphasize in understanding, but he also made it clearly in the specific contents: 1 – Saving labor power; 2 – Saving time; 3 – Saving wealth; 4 – All people have to save.
In fact, saving labor power is a significant method to increase the labor productivity of each individual. Concretely, it takes ten people to finish normal tasks; however, we should arrange them cleverly and stimulate working capacity of individual in order to five people can also complete, which leads to save labor power. We still ensure effective, quality job while the number of laborers decrease – That is called saving!
Time is money, so saving time is saving money. In particular, every elapsed second can not regained; therefore, we need to save more. In summary, what needs to be done we have to finish it swiftly, expeditiously and timely.
Saving wealth means arranging task cleverly so as to use the least amount of money, avoiding wasting of public money.
All people have to save. This is the source to create the sustainable strength of country. It is necessary to have united spirit as one in the whole population. Because whoever can also save and everyone should save!
Following Uncle Ho’s teaching, a national movement of saving was created. From the old to even the Red Riding Hood children, all they felt satisfied with “tightening their belt”, giving up a part of daily meager ration to “the rice jar of resistance”. At that time, “the rice jar of resistance” or the spirit of love and solidarity enhanced strength, fighting force for Uncle Ho’s soldier, and then we could advance toward liberating capital in the autumn days which were resplendent flag and flower in 60 years ago.
Currently, economy is having many difficulties, such as: slow growth, rising bad debt, real estate in stock, and the signs of prosperity are absolutely weak… Therefore, enterprises need give their best effort for saving.  And every individual in these businesses should also agree to this policy.
For A&P Group, the leadership of enterprise has been calling for whole staff saving. More than anyone else, the staff needs to save in all four aspects: Saving labor power; Saving time; Saving wealth; All people have to save.
Saving does not mean miserly, cut down expenditures pointlessly. Saving have to be not only reasonable but also still remain to invest for goals of development. Therefore, A & P Group has invested heavily to build, upgrade the concrete mixing plant, transportation and equipment for Mova factory based on international standard, meeting the increasing demand of customer.
According to Pham Thi Lan Anh, Chairman of A&P Group, saving in the group should focus on: Solidarity; personal ability, competitive ability. In particular, we should increase individual ability, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the brand to reduce all unnecessary costs. For example, in the production process, the production staff regularly performs well in maintenance, equipment maintenance, so we can reduce the cost of repairing equipment. Or in the management of quality, staff management should improve the quality of professional qualifications, offer technical process and the optimum mixing level to minimize the risk of business production and ensure the highest economic efficiency.
Similarly, in enterprise, all individuals and departments are able to participate in the process of ability improvement, improving competitive position to contribute to save expenditure of business production.
Sales Executive should closely follow market, raise more negotiating power, this can lead to sign major contracts with the price and payment conditions as best as possible.
The management excutives of professional competence such as: Finance Division implements well financial management, in order to avoid losing of money and property of company.

Supervisory Board should strengthen in monitoring, timely detection of mistakes in the implementation of the rules and regulations of Group, in order to avoid repeating unnecessary mistakes, omissions and losses.
Marketing should enhance brand promotion, product, keep abreast with sales process of Sales Executive to propose the best sales promotion tools which create favorable conditions for Sales Executive businessing to achieve expectations in revenue growth...
Each person carries out a task, each person give a conscious effort for a common goal which help A&P Group to overcome the difficult period of economic crisis. It is also the fourth lesson in Uncle Ho’s teaching about saving: "All people have to save". The lessons of unity, saving efforts together to overcome difficulties that have been proven its soundness in history and are being promoting practicality in the present.
